Have you ever been to a very large website and have trouble finding something? Most of us have. That is where a site map comes in handy.
Basically it is a list of pages and how they link with one another. Each link in the list is a link to that page so the reader after finding the correct page can go to it immediately.
So as you add new pages to your site you also add it to your site map.
If you are using WordPress as your blog, there are plugins to create your site map for readers. I use Semiologic Pro on most of my websites and it allows me to create a site map for visitors automatically and it is self updating as you add new pages.
