How Do You Make a Site Map?

A site map that can be read by the search engine bots is very important for your search engine ranking. The site map helps the bots find all of your information to index it.

To find out what Google requires in a site map go to Google Webmaster Tools.

There are tools to create site maps and you can create one by hand. But for those of us using a WordPress business blog, all we need is a Google Sitemap plugin. Just do a search for “Google sitemap plugin WordPress” and find a free sitemap plugin for your blog.

Once the plugin has been installed and activated, your Google sitemap has been created and submitted. Each time to add content the sitemap will be updated.

This is the easiest way to make a site map that I know of.
